Peterson, Jr. ORDINANCE NO. 9484 AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND ORDINANCE NO. 6958, AS AMENDED, KNOWN AS THE ZONING ORDINANCE, SO AS TO REZONE A TRACT OF LAND LOCATED AT 1924 RANDOLPH STREET, BEING ON THE SOUTHEAST LINE OF RANDOLPH STREET AT EAST 21ST STREET FROM M-3 WAREHOUSE AND WHOLESALE ZONE TO M-1 MANUFACTURING ZONE, SUBJECT TO CERTAIN CONDITIONS. _______________________ SECTION 1. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CHATTANOOGA, TENNESSEE, That Ordinance No. 6958, as amended, known as the Zoning Ordinance, be and the same is hereby amended so as to rezone: A tract of land located at 1924 Randolph Street, being on the southeast line of Randolph Street at East 21st Street. Lot 18, Thomas' Subdivision of the East One-Half of Block Ten, Huddle Farm, as shown by plat of record in plat book 5, page 55, R.O.H.C., being the property described in deed book 3754, page 468, R.O.H.C. Tax Map No. 156F-K-32. from M-3 Warehouse and Wholesale Zone to M-1 Manufacturing Zone. SECTION 2. BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED, That this rezoning shall be subject to the following conditions: 1. The owner of said tract shall erect and maintain a sight-obscuring wooden fence on the north and east lines. 2. Use of said property shall be restricted to a wrecker service. 3. Access to said tract shall be restricted to 21st Street. 4. The owner of said tract shall not permit any inoperative vehicles in its custody to be parked on any public right-of-way. 5. All existing easements are retained. SECTION 3. BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED, That this Ordinance shall take effect two weeks from and after its passage as provided by law, provided, that this Ordinance shall not be operative until completion of condition no. 1 in Section 2 above.
